Simple Skincare Sheet-Masks | January 2018

Simple Skincare is my holy grail skincare brand, it has never let me down. I use it for my entire skincare routine and over the years  I have watched as the range has grown from a facial wash, toner and moisturiser to a utopia of facial, skincare and haircare products. The ethos remains the same, gentle products suitable for sensitive skin with no harsh chemicals.

Early November, Simple dropped three sheet-masks to their product line and I was beside myself to try them out. Three masks, all designed with Bamboo Fibres to fit your face like a second skin (which I can confirm they absolutely do), filled with good vitamins and anti-oxidants to give you fresh, healthy skin.

Pollution Protect Sheet Mask

Enriched with Vitamin B3 & Antioxidants, designed to protect your skin from the harsh effects of pollution. If you spend a lot of time in the city, you need this. While I’m not often in Glasgow anymore, I used to study and then work there and I really noticed a difference in my skin. I thought this product was a bit different to the normal brighten, tighten sheet masks that every brand comes out with.

The structure of the mask was great. It clings to your face so you can do other things and it won’t slide off.

My skin looked a brighter, less tired and all round a bit healthier. It was a nice pick-me-up and with continued use, I do think it would reduce the effects of pollutions on skin.

Rich Moisture Sheet Mask

Enriched with Botanical Extracts, this mask is designed to fight the signs of dehydrated skins. Moisture masks wouldn’t be the one to attract me and I really only bought it to try the full range, I don’t really use moisture masks because I can be prone to oily skin.

While I liked this mask, my skin did feel smooth and hydrated, it’s not the kind of mask I go for so I wouldn’t pick it up again.

De-Stress Sheet Mask

Enriched with Aloe & Multi-Vitamins to soothe and brighten stressed skin. My skin has its moments but generally it’s okay so I wasn’t expecting much from this one as I didn’t think it would benefit me.

I used this on a Friday night, after a long week, and my skin looked really good the next day. So fresh, healthy and glowing! There is so much liquid on the mask when it’s time to take it off, i massage the liquid into my skin and that seems to work a treat.

If you have sensitive skin and need to be wary of face-masks then I’d recommend you give these a go. Many sheet masks are just too harsh on my skin but I’ve been using these frequently since November with absolutely no problems.

I believe these masks are exclusive to Boots, if you buy one please let me know which one and what you think of it! If you want to read more about my love affair with Simple you can check out My Skincare Routine .
