Beauty Hacks: top 5 under £5

I’m an avid beauty enthusiast and since you have found your way to this post it’s safe to assume you have some sort of interest, ranging to obsession, in beauty products!
I buy lots of beauty products and to an extent, you get what you pay for, however there are a few beauty gems out there that will not break the bank!

Here are my top five beauty products which are all under £5!

For a moisturiser, i would normally stick to Simple because i have pretty sensitive skin at times. Then someone recommended me Lacura Renew Q10 Day Cream. It smells really lovely and fresh. This keeps my skin super soft! It’s moisturising, my skin never goes dry when i’m using this and it keeps my skin looking really healthy and glowy.
I cannot recommend it to anyone enough, if i was making a High-Street comparison i’d say it’s a bit like Nivea but better! You can pick this up in Aldi, yes Aldi and it’s only £1.99 for a 50ml jar. I urge you to try this, if you don’t like it for £1.99 it’s not a big deal, but i can almost promise you will love it!

Another beauty gem, i think is everyone’s beauty gem is the Collection Lasting Perfecting Concealer. I have raved about this product in Favourites posts but sometimes i can’t quite believe it works as well as it does. I’ve always found Collection products a bit of a hit or a miss, but this is hit x10. This will set you back £4.19 and you will not regret it.

My next beauty bargain is the MUA Undress Your Skin Highlighting Powder, this highlighter was one of the first i bought and one i keep coming back to. It is so incredibly pigmented for the price and it lasts all day! It’s so flattering, you can use it on all high points of your face and a really great highlight that you can build. It’s £3 from MUA at Superdrug, this is a GEM!

There’s few things i enjoy more than a lipstick, it just completes your look. When i’m working or at university i normally buy cheaper lipsticks and save my expensive ones for going out. I went to Primark the other day and found this berry lipstick and it was only 90p! This is the PS…Lipstick in the colour 03 Rosewood Mauve. I like this because again it’s very build able so i can have it really strong and then a bit more muted when applying throughout the day. I’ve never tried Primark lipsticks before this month but they’re really soft and creamy.

Lastly, and it’s probably the most important, water. Water is your ultimate beauty hack. I realised last month, i’d went through four tubes of concealer (2 bottles of 2 different shades) and that’s so unlike me because generally i have pretty good skin. I then realised that it was because i wasn’t drinking nearly enough water and as a result my skin was bad. You should aim to drink at least two litres of water a day. Since i had a word with myself, and got back on track, my skin has cleared up within a week or so.

Let me know what beauty gem’s you have found for under £5 and if you are going to try any of the ones i’ve listed above please do let me know in the comments!

Much love!
